Chair

I joined the Education Standards Committee at Springfield Academy in 2018 as a Board Appointed Governor and am the current ESC Chair.  I previously served as ESC Chair from 2019-2023. Outside school, I am Vice-Principal of Trevelyan College, Durham University, where I have responsibility for student enrichment. I work with student leaders and staff to develop opportunities in sport, music, theatre, art, volunteering, outreach, and scholarly activity. Before my current role, I undertook research in the Department of Geography, Durham University, focusing on relative sea-level change in Iceland and past earthquakes in Alaska and Chile.
