Academy Day

Children enter school from 8:35 am each morning with register being taken at 8:45 am. (We also offer an early drop-off facility for working parents and carers, from 8.00am each morning. Please call in to the school office for more information.)

Our school day begins with breakfast – offered free of charge for all pupils. On Monday, Thursday and Friday we have an assembly. The children have a fifteen-minute break each morning with English and mathematics usually delivered either side of the break. Lunchtime begins at 11.50am for KS2 and at 12.10pm for KS1 and EYFS. KS2 are back in class by 12.30pm and KS1 at 1.00pm. All children have two discrete lesson slots each afternoon, with a short flexible break taken during the session. School finishes at 3:15 pm for all children. Our school week is 32.5 hours for children in Reception to Year 6.
